Australia Arab Chamber of Commerce

The Australia Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AACCI) is the peak body representing Australian private enterprise with commercial interest in markets of the Arab League countries, and as such enjoys full support of the Australian Government. The Chamber was founded in 1975 and has been going from strength to strength ever since.

AACCI is affiliated to the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for Arab Countries (GUCCIAA), and maintains excellent relations with its sister Chambers in those Countries.

Australia Indian Chamber of Commerce

The Australia India Chamber of Commerce (“AICC”) came into existence in 1984 and this year marks the 20th year of the AICC. Over these years the AICC has stood the test of time. It clearly established itself as the main body in Victoria that promotes bilateral trade between Australia and India and is recognized by the Victorian and Indian Governments and other associations in this regard.

Australian Indian of Export

The Australian Institute of Export was established in 1956 and is a non-profit private sector organisation, which assists Australian exporters and export service providers by providing export education and training. The Institute operates in all States of Australia, and is a member of the International Association of Trade Training Organisations.

The Australian Government has reaffirmed its commitment to continuing reform of Australia’s biosecurity system. The Budget provides for a smarter approach to the management of biosecurity risks – addressing threats to Australia’s primary production sectors, the environment and human health, while also supporting tourism and trade.

Australian Securities & Investments Commissions (ASIC)

ASIC is Australia’s corporate, markets and financial services regulator. They contribute to Australia’s economic reputation and wellbeing by ensuring that Australia’s financial markets are fair and transparent, supported by confident and informed investors and consumers.
They are an independent Commonwealth Government body.
They are set up under and administer the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act (ASIC Act), and we carry out most of our work under the Corporations Act.
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 requires us to:
• maintain, facilitate and improve the performance of the financial system and entities in it
• promote confident and informed participation by investors and consumers in the financial system
• administer the law effectively and with minimal procedural requirements

Department of Agriculture, Fisheries & Forestry - Australia (DAFF)

DAFF manages quarantine controls at our borders to minimise the risk of exotic pests and diseases entering the country. DAFF also provides import and export inspection and certification to help retain Australia’s highly favourable animal, plant and human health status and wide access to overseas export markets.

The department’s role is to advance the interests of Australia and Australians internationally.
